Harvesting under the control of Miory rescuers

The harvesting campaign is actively underway in the agricultural enterprises of the Miory district. Harvesting the crop quickly and without losses is the main task of the agrarians. Despite the fact that warm sunny days are replaced by rainy weather, the situation in the fields remains a fire hazard.

The rescuers have one goal – to monitor compliance with fire safety, prevention, and to prevent fires. The task is to assess compliance with safety norms and requirements, the readiness of equipment for extinguishing fires, the availability of primary fire extinguishing means on grain harvesting machines, and the knowledge of agricultural enterprise workers regarding fire safety rules. Another joint raid with representatives of the internal affairs department was conducted at the facilities of the agricultural enterprise open joint-stock company "Lyubinovo". Participants of the preventive event checked the condition of the equipment operating in the fields, as well as compliance with the fire safety regulations at the visited facilities.  

– The main points we pay attention to are, first of all, the completeness of equipment involved in harvesting with primary fire extinguishing means, compliance with the fire safety regime, and competent and prompt response to any emergency situations, the responsible attitude of each employee to safety, – report the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In addition to the fire safety status, the raid participants provided advisory assistance to the facility managers and explained how not to become the cause of a fire emergency at work and at home.

It is worth noting that throughout the entire harvesting campaign, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations will conduct raid activities at the sites of harvesting, processing, and storage of grain.
