2.      Carry out the activities of a guide, interpreter-guide
based on the principles of legality, competence, fairness
and integrity.

3.      Show respect for the state symbols of the Republic of Belarus, the history of the development of Belarusian statehood, the cultural and spiritual traditions of the Republic of Belarus and the preservation of its historical and cultural heritage.

4.      Form an idea of the Republic of Belarus as
a country attractive to tourists and excursion participants, do not allow subjective incorrect assessments and statements about the Republic of Belarus and other states during excursions, and also take measures to prevent incorrect, provocative and other negative statements or actions by tourists, excursion participants
or other persons.

5.      Possess the volume of knowledge and professional skills necessary for conducting excursions in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, including knowledge of history, ethnography, culture, economy, natural and geographical features, domestic and foreign policy of the Republic of Belarus, update the acquired knowledge for timely updating of individual excursion texts.

6.      Adhere to generally accepted ethical standards, maintain the honor and dignity of your profession, as well as personal honor
and dignity.

7.      Observe generally accepted sanitary and hygienic standards, have a neat appearance, exclude any forms of provocation
in clothing and appearance.

8. To show tolerance and tact towards representatives of other nationalities, cultures, traditions, views, and beliefs.

9. To refrain from actions that violate public order or express blatant disrespect
to society, as well as any actions that discredit the professional activities of a tour guide or interpreter guide.

10. To ensure that tourists and excursion participants treat the environment with care, and to take measures to prevent them from causing harm to tourist resources.

11. To maintain respectful relationships with tourists, excursion participants, representatives of tourism industry entities, other employees engaged in tourism organizations, officials of state bodies and other organizations, including the attestation body (hereinafter referred to as the attesting body), and other individuals,
and to avoid inappropriate behavior, aggression, negative assessments, insults, slander, and other negative actions towards them.

12. To coordinate the behavior of tourists and excursion participants in emergency situations or other unforeseen circumstances, to inform the head of the tourism entity or other organization that has engaged the tour guide or interpreter guide for organizing the excursion, or their separate divisions (hereinafter, unless otherwise specified, referred to as the head) about the occurrence of such situations or circumstances, and to call emergency service representatives if necessary.

13. In case of deterioration of health of tourists or excursion participants, or if they sustain injuries during excursions, to inform the head and to organize the provision of first medical aid to these tourists and excursion participants.

14. To exclude conducting excursions while in a state of alcohol, drug, or toxic intoxication, and to take measures to exclude the participation of tourists and excursion participants who are in a state of alcohol, drug, or toxic intoxication
and exhibit aggressive behavior.

15. To ensure high-quality guided tours on subjects for which certification has been obtained, in accordance with legislative requirements and obligations under tourism or excursion service agreements, and to promptly resolve organizational and other issues related to their conduct.

16. To make changes to the excursion program exclusively upon agreement with the supervisor.

17. To ensure the translation of the excursion text into a foreign language or from a foreign language without distorting the meaning of the translated text*.

18. To comply with copyright and other related rights of excursion developers, not to appropriate intellectual property results, and to cite excursion developers and other authors in accordance with legislation and indicating their authorship.

19. To use a mobile phone during the excursion solely for resolving issues related to the provision of excursion services.

20. When conducting an excursion using vehicles, to inform the vehicle driver of the tourist route, excluding instructions that contradict legislation or pose a threat to the safety of tourists and excursion participants.

21. To appear at the invitation of the certifying body within the established timeframe and provide explanations on matters of their activities, and if unable to appear at the appointed time, to notify the certifying body in writing, stating the reason for absence.
