Educational Network of the District

The educational space of the Miory District is an integral system, including 20 institutions:

  • 7 secondary schools;
  • 3 basic schools;
  • 1 primary school;
  • 6 preschool education institutions;
  • Center for Correctional and Developmental Education and Rehabilitation;
  • Socio-pedagogical center;
  • Center for Children and Youth.

 1738 schoolchildren and 485 preschoolers are educated and brought up in the district's educational institutions.

309 children, including 37 children with disabilities, receive assistance from defectologist teachers.

In order to provide correctional and pedagogical assistance and special education to children, the district operates:

  • 34 integrated education and upbringing classes in schools;
  • 11 integrated education and upbringing groups in kindergartens;
  • 6 correctional and pedagogical assistance points at general secondary and preschool education institutions;
  • 3 special groups for children with severe speech impairments;
  • 1 special group for children with learning difficulties;
  • 44 children receive assistance from specialists at the center for correctional and developmental education and rehabilitation.

Development of Student Abilities

83 interest groups operate in schools, covering 989 students, including:

·  tourism and local history - 1

·  ecological and biological - 1

·  social and humanitarian - 2.

3 interest groups for preschoolers have been organized.

Staffing

Total pedagogical staff - 418, including:

in general education institutions - 345

in preschool educational institutions – 73.

Of these, 83% have higher education

17% have secondary vocational education.

Certification

The proportion of teachers with first and highest qualification categories is 91.3%, among preschool educators – 57.4%.

Young specialists

Retention rate of young specialists in 2024 is 50%, in 2025 – 42.9%.

4 young specialists arrived in the district in the new academic year.
