If a child under three years of age with developmental disabilities is being raised in a family, the amount of all due payments (pensions and benefits) is from 1254 rubles per month. This was reported by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection on the International Children's Day. If there are two more children over three years of age in the family, the amount of assistance can reach 1659 rubles.
– If there is a child with a disability aged three to 18 in the family and one of the parents is caring for them, receiving a childcare allowance, the total minimum amount of financial assistance will be 778 rubles, – the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection clarified. – And when two more children over three years of age are being raised in such a family, the total amount reaches 1245 rubles. It happens that a childcare allowance is not paid to the parent. In this case, the amount of state support is, accordingly, from 467 to 872 rubles.
The Ministry of Labour specified in which cases and to which categories of families state assistance is provided.
– Direct financial support for families with children with disabilities is provided through the system of state benefits, – the agency clarified. – The amount of payments depends on the age of the child with a disability, the degree of their health loss, and the presence of other children in the family.
A childcare allowance for a child under three years of age with a disability is assigned in an increased amount – 45 percent of the average monthly salary of workers in the country (694 rubles).
For all children over three years of age being raised in the family, a monthly allowance is paid: for a child with a disability – 70 percent of the subsistence minimum budget (SMB) (218 rubles), for other children in the family – 50 percent of the SMB (156 rubles).
Parents or other persons caring for a child with a disability are assigned a childcare allowance, the amount of which is set depending on the age and degree of health loss of the child:
- to a child under three years of age – 100 percent of the BPM, regardless of the degree of health loss (311 rubles);
- to a child over three years of age with the 1st or 2nd degree of health loss – 100 percent of the BPM (311 rubles);
- to a child over three years of age with the 3rd or 4th degree of health loss – 120 percent of the BPM (373 rubles).
Children with disabilities under 18 years of age are granted a social pension. The amount is influenced by the degree of health loss – from 80 to 110 percent of the BPM. In May of the current year, the amount ranged from 249 rubles to 342 rubles.
