Meeting-dialogue "The Path to the Soul - The Road to Oneself"
On the eve of the Orthodox holiday of the Presentation of the Lord, a meeting-dialogue "The Path to the Soul - The Road to Oneself" was held at the department of social rehabilitation and habilitation of disabled people of the State Institution "Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of the Miory District" on the initiative of Archpriest Viktor Vabishchevich, rector of the Church of the Robe of the Most Holy Theotokos in Blachernae.
The dialogue discussed how to combine the earthly and the spiritual, the Christian soul, and the great power of prayer.
Father Viktor answered numerous questions concerning the cross and the sign of the cross, icons, fasting, the sacraments of confession and communion.
At the end of the meeting, Father Viktor urged all Christians to pray and, as far as possible, to visit the Orthodox church, wished Christians strength of spirit, goodness and faith, not to stray from the true path, and to find their way to Christ. As a gift from the clergyman, the participants received confectionery gifts and an Orthodox calendar.
