May 9th is a sacred date in the history of our country.

On the eve of the great holiday, the chairman of the "Belaya Rus" public association Valery Drabo, deputy chairman of the district executive committee Alexander Zhuk, chairman of the district council of veterans Galina Gurieva, first secretary of the district committee of the "BRSM" public association Lyudmila Vorona, as well as activists of public associations, members of labor collectives, and schoolchildren visited those who survived the horrors of Nazi concentration camps and the family of a fallen soldier.

The guests expressed words of deep gratitude to the former prisoners for their resilience, courage, and invaluable contribution to the Great Victory.

Representatives of the district authorities and the public emphasized that the duty of the current generation is to preserve historical truth, honor heroes, and surround with attention those who went through the difficult years of the Great Patriotic War.

Eternal memory to the fallen. A low bow to the living witnesses of those terrible years.
