On December 18, as part of the "STEP" project, a class was held on the topic: "To be a worthy citizen of the Republic of Belarus means to know and respect the history of one's country."

As part of the dialogue platform "Let's Preserve Historical Memory!", 9th-11th grade students met with representatives of the Marine Corps.

The students recalled the biography of E.A. Tomko, watched a film about the school being named after the Hero of the Soviet Union, and then communicated with the guests.

The marines spoke about their service, extreme situations, camaraderie, and friendship. The guests solemnly presented the school administration with the flag "Marine Brotherhood is Indestructible! The Fleet Remembers Everyone, and Therefore Me".

Veterans asked the students to help gather information about fellow countrymen who were sailors, in order to preserve the memory together. The Deputy Chairman of the District Executive Committee, Alexander Zhuk, took part in the event.
