The pupils of the "Debate" club of the Miory Center for Children and Youth returned home with another victory

They participated in the republican rhetorical art competition "Speaker of the Year" and were recognized by the jury. Milana Shimko and Maria Matsuk were awarded diplomas of the I degree in their respective Russian-speaking league groups, and in the super-final, Milana was named its absolute winner. Polina Shuk was awarded a diploma of the II degree, and Ksenia Matkova received a diploma of the III degree.

The "Debates" club has been operating at the Miory Center for Children and Youth for over ten years. All this time, its coach has been Natalia Butko, a passionate and erudite person. She believes that overcoming the fear of a large audience and eloquent speech will help children in their further personal growth. Therefore, she teaches schoolchildren, starting from adolescence, public speaking skills, how to behave on stage, breathe correctly, and emphasize key points.
