Trade union reception in Miory: issues of labor law and citizen safety.

A legal trade union reception was held today at the TCSON with the participation of Galina Zubritskaya, legal inspector of the Vitebsk regional organization, and Ivan Stativko, district prosecutor.

During the conversation, the prosecutor noted a decrease in the number of crimes in the first half of the year, but drew attention to a drop in the crime detection rate and an increase in cyber fraud, which most often affects elderly citizens. He urged social service workers to more actively inform older people about the risks of phone conversations with strangers.

During the meeting, the legal inspector explained the norms of labor legislation regarding combining positions, expanding the service area, and performing the duties of a temporarily absent employee. It was noted that such forms of employment are applied only with the consent of the employee and provide for appropriate additional payment.

TCSON employees also sought consultation. Among the topics discussed was the possibility of granting rest time to an employee whose workload is 24 hours a day.
