in the International Competition

The Republic of Belarus is a party to the UN Convention against Corruption. By the Law of the Republic of Belarus "On Ratification of the United Nations Convention against Corruption," the Prosecutor General's Office has been designated as the coordinating body for its implementation.

In accordance with Article 13 of the said Convention, each State Party shall take appropriate measures to promote active participation of individuals and groups outside the public sector in the prevention of and the fight against corruption, to deepen the understanding of society about the existence, causes and dangerous nature of corruption, as well as the threats it poses.

In order to organize constructive international cooperation, create an atmosphere of intolerance towards corruption, and take joint effective measures to combat this negative social phenomenon, Belarus, along with Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan, actively participates in the activities of the Intergovernmental Council for Combating Corruption, a sectoral cooperation body of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Under the auspices of this council, the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation annually organizes the International Youth Competition of Social Anti-Corruption Advertising "Together Against Corruption!", which is open to participants from any country.

Co-organizers of the competition include the Prosecutor General's Offices of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Armenia, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs, the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Contestants aged 10 to 25 are invited to prepare thematic social advertising in the nominations "Best Drawing," "Best Poster," and "Best Video Clip."

It is expected that the competition entries will reflect modern state mechanisms for combating corruption at all levels and in all spheres of public and state life, as well as the role and significance of international cooperation in this area.

The submission of works is organized on the official website of the international competition www.anticorruption.life until October 1, 2026. The competition rules are also available there.

The international competition consists of two stages.

The first stage - the semi-final - will be held from May 1 to October 1, 2026, separately in each country. Works in each nomination will be evaluated by national competition committees. An awards ceremony is planned based on the results.

The competition entries that take first place will advance to the second stage - the final, which will be held in October - November 2026. During the final, the International Competition Jury will determine the winners and prize-winners in each nomination. A formal award ceremony with diplomas, valuable gifts, and commemorative prizes is planned to be held in Moscow, timed to coincide with the International Anti-Corruption Day (December 9).
