On child safety
Since the beginning of the academic year, more than 40 children have been injured in the region as a result of sledding down snow-covered hills on inner tubes and other devices, including more than 10 who sustained severe injuries, including spinal fractures.
Such consequences occur due to disregard for safety regulations and parental negligence.
Riding on inner tubes requires choosing specially prepared slopes without trees, bushes, bodies of water, or other obstacles, with a gradient of up to 20 degrees. It is necessary to slide only in a seated position, facing forward, and to ensure that the slope is clear each time to avoid collisions. It is strictly forbidden to tie inner tubes to vehicles, to ride with a child, to jump, to stand, or to brake with your feet.
It is mandatory to use inner tubes in accordance with the height and weight of children, as well as protective gear.
We must all remember that the life and health of our children are in the hands of their parents.
