The prosecutor's office of the Miory district conducted an analysis of compliance with the requirements of legislation on combating corruption and on the procurement of goods (works, services).

The fundamental principle of combating corruption is ensuring the transparency of actions and decisions of state bodies, ensuring effective control and supervisory procedures, as well as the inevitability of responsibility in case of violation of legislative requirements.

The analysis conducted by the district prosecutor's office showed that the agricultural sector is most susceptible to corruption manifestations. Officials of agricultural enterprises systematically appear in reports of law enforcement agencies.

Thus, in 2025, 3 criminal cases were initiated against officials of agricultural enterprises in the district who, in order to conceal the unproductive disposal of cattle, entered knowingly false information into documents related to the disposal of cattle.

During the inspection, improper work of the personnel services of agricultural organizations was established regarding the formalization of written obligations of public officials and familiarization with anti-corruption restrictions.

For example, an examination of obligations selected from public officials of one of the enterprises revealed that their texts are not personalized and do not contain a complete list of anti-corruption prohibitions.

In addition, the district prosecutor's office has paid special attention to the sphere of procurement of goods (works, services), as almost half of the bribes are transferred during procurement, execution of contracts, and provision of other patronage to commercial structures.

During a selective study of the procedure for conducting public procurement, systemic violations of the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 13, 2012 No. 419-Z "On Public Procurement of Goods (Works, Services)" were revealed.

There are frequent cases of procurement without conducting procedures established by law, and conducting single-source procurement procedures when there are grounds for conducting competitive types of procedures.

In order to eliminate the identified violations, the district prosecutor's office has submitted a corresponding representation to the chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee.
