Children's playgrounds are under the scrutiny of the district prosecutor's office
In June of the current year, the district prosecutor's office conducted an inspection of the enforcement of legislation aimed at ensuring the safety of children's lives and health during the summer period. As a result, violations were identified in the operation of equipment at children's playgrounds located within the territory of Miory.
The conducted inspection established that in a number of cases, existing children's playgrounds located on the adjacent territories of Miory do not comply with the requirements of current legislation, which poses a threat to the lives and health of children. The most common violations include: improper external and technical condition, breakage or absence of elements of play equipment, malfunctions, and the presence of vegetation.
During the inspection of the safety of equipment at children's playgrounds in Miory, violations were identified regarding the improper external and technical condition, breakage or absence of elements of play equipment, malfunctions, and the presence of vegetation on playgrounds located on E. Tomko St., Kommunisticheskaya St., Oktyabrskaya St., Komsomolskaya St., Dzerzhinskogo St. in Miory, and within the territory of the recreation area "Poluostrov" (Peninsula), used by the public for recreation.
Based on the results of the inspection, the district prosecutor sent a representation to the chairman of the Miory District Executive Committee regarding the elimination of the identified violations of legislative requirements.
