THE DISTRICT COURT HAS CONSIDERED THE CRIMINAL CASE
The district prosecutor's office supported the state prosecution in a criminal case charging three residents of the district with the theft of property from an agricultural enterprise.
The criminal case involved three young men who decided to earn extra money by selling property of the enterprise where they themselves worked. Thus, on one of the days in July of the current year, after drinking alcoholic beverages together, they drove a motor-cultivator with a trailer to one of the farm's fields. Using wrenches, they dismantled two electric motors, a metal chain with brackets and scrapers from the manure removal conveyor, causing damage to the enterprise in the amount of 631 rubles 09 kopecks. The stolen property was taken to a nearby cornfield, where it was hidden under grass. They then went to the home of one of the accused, where they continued to drink alcohol and look for "points of sale" for the stolen property. However, they did not manage to sell the stolen goods, as police officers arrived in the evening and identified the perpetrators based on "hot pursuit" evidence. Initially, all three denied their involvement in the crime. However, under the weight of irrefutable evidence, they confessed to their actions. The stolen property was returned to the farm.
By the court's sentence, all three accused, taking into account their sincere remorse for the deed and their character references, were sentenced to correctional labor with a 15% deduction from their earnings to the state revenue monthly, but not less than one base unit monthly, for a term of one year (each). The wrenches used to dismantle the electric motors were ordered by the court to be confiscated into state revenue in accordance with Article 46-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
The court's sentence has entered into legal force.
