At the prosecutor's request, a mother who evaded the upbringing and maintenance of her daughter has been deprived of parental rights

Following a lawsuit filed by the district prosecutor's office, a mother who evaded the upbringing and support of her daughter has been deprived of parental rights, and the minor has been placed under state care.

During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that after the girl's birth, the mother left the healthcare facility to register the newborn's birth certificate and create living conditions for her in the occupied residential premises. Since that time, she has not visited her daughter in the hospital, has not brought baby food or diapers, and has not contacted the registry office to obtain a birth certificate for her daughter, nor has she registered her at her place of residence. When the mother was visited at her place of residence, it was confirmed that the necessary items and food for a newborn child were absent, there was a debt for housing payments, and the mother was observed consuming alcoholic beverages.

In light of the foregoing, the minor was recognized as requiring state protection, was taken from her mother, and placed under state care.

During the period the girl was in the social institution, her mother did not take the necessary measures to have her returned to the family.

These circumstances indicated that the woman was neglecting her parental duties and evading the upbringing and support of her minor daughter.

In the best interests of the girl and to protect her rights and interests, the prosecutor of Mior District filed a lawsuit with the court to deprive her mother of parental rights.

By the decision of the Mior District Court, the prosecutor's claims were fully satisfied – the girl was placed under state care.
