The Miory District Department of Internal Affairs informs that a mechanism for criminal prosecution for the illegal use of UAVs has been launched in Belarus
For the illegal use of unmanned aerial vehicles, violators now face criminal liability. Since November 2 of the current year, the Law of the Republic of Belarus of October 20, 2025, No. 101-3 "On Amendments to Laws on Criminal and Administrative Liability" has come into force.
The Law establishes administrative liability for the illegal import into the territory of Belarus, storage, circulation, operation, or manufacturing of unmanned aerial vehicles or model aircraft, as provided for by Articles 13.36, 18.35, and 18.38 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Belarus. Criminal liability arises for similar actions committed repeatedly within a year after the imposition of an administrative penalty and is provided for by Article 300-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus.
