The State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region will hold a preventive event "Holidays Under the Sign of Safety!" on June 19, aimed at preventing road traffic accidents involving minors during the summer period.

During the event, the traffic police will strengthen control over the movement of cyclists, pedestrians, and persons using personal mobility devices on patrol routes.

The traffic police reminds: personal mobility devices include electric scooters, hoverboards, monowheels, segways, and other similar devices.

When using them, it is necessary to ride on the bicycle lane, and in its absence – on the sidewalk, pedestrian path, or roadside at a speed not exceeding 25 km/h. At the same time, it is forbidden to create obstacles for pedestrian traffic. Be attentive on the roads and follow the traffic rules!
