The State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region will hold a special event "Safe Region"

In order to prevent road traffic accidents, as well as to eliminate negative trends in the road traffic situation in the Vitebsk region on May 30, 2025, the State Automobile Inspectorate will hold a preventive event called "Safe Region!", aimed at preventing traffic accidents involving and due to the fault of pedestrians, and drivers who have violated speed limits and overtaking rules.

During the event, the traffic police units of the Miory District Department of Internal Affairs will work on republican roads, aimed at suppressing and preventing violations of speed limits and overtaking rules using overt, covert, and mixed control. If you witness a pedestrian or cyclist in a state of intoxication on the roadway, or if their actions pose a threat to road traffic safety, report it to the Internal Affairs Department by calling 102.
