Turn on the low beam headlights!
From May 25 to June 5, a special comprehensive event "Attention – Children!" will be held.
During these days, vehicles must travel with their low beam headlights on during daylight hours (Clause 166.9 of the Traffic Regulations).
Special attention will be paid to compliance with the speed limit, as well as the rules for passing pedestrian crossings and the safe transportation of minors.
The State Automobile Inspectorate urges drivers to be extremely careful when driving near children's institutions, passing unregulated pedestrian crossings, public transport stops, and in courtyards.
Violation is punishable by administrative liability in the form of a warning or a fine of up to 3 basic units.
