The State Automobile Inspectorate of the Vitebsk region will hold a special event "Safe Region"

In order to prevent road traffic accidents and to eliminate the development of negative trends in the road traffic situation in the Vitebsk region on April 11, 2025, the State Automobile Inspectorate will hold a preventive event called "Safe Region!", aimed at preventing traffic accidents involving and due to pedestrians, and drivers who have violated speed limits and overtaking rules.

During the event, the traffic police units of the Miory District Department of Internal Affairs will patrol the republican roads, aimed at suppressing and preventing violations of speed limits and overtaking rules using overt, covert, and mixed control.

If you witness a pedestrian or cyclist in a state of intoxication on the roadway, or if they create a threat to road traffic safety with their actions, please report it to the Internal Affairs Department by calling 102.
