On August 14, 2024, the State Automobile Inspectorate will hold a preventive event "Child Seat!" in the Vitebsk region.

Since the beginning of the current year, 28 road traffic accidents involving minors have been registered in the Vitebsk region, in which 37 minors were injured, 22 of them were child passengers, which is 59.5% of the total number of accidents.

An unfavorable situation with child road traffic injuries has also developed in the Miory district, as a result of 2 accidents, two child passengers and a child pedestrian sustained bodily injuries.

This event is aimed at reducing the severity of consequences in road traffic accidents, as well as promoting the use of child restraint systems when transporting children.

During this period, the State Automobile Inspectorate will strengthen control over the transportation of children and conduct large-scale explanatory work.
