The Miory branch of the State Enterprise "Vitebskobltop" offers residents of the district living in houses without central heating fuel at a fixed price.
- one type of fuel: peat briquettes 3.5 tons per year per household or firewood 4.9 cubic meters per year per household;
- several types of fuel: peat briquettes 2.8 tons + firewood 1.2 cubic meters per year per household;
peat briquettes 2.5 tons + wood pellets 1.0 tons per year per household;
firewood 3.5 cubic meters + wood pellets 1.5 tons.
Fuel exceeding these norms and fuel used for purposes other than heating the house is sold at free market prices in any quantity.
Citizens listed in Article 16 of the Law of the Republic of Belarus of June 14, 2007 No. 239-Z "On State Social Benefits, Rights and Guarantees for Certain Categories of Citizens" (disabled persons and veterans of the Great Patriotic War; persons equated to war participants; disabled persons of groups 1 and 2 with general illness, living with non-working persons and old-age pensioners) are entitled to a 50% discount on the cost of fuel purchased within the norms. In addition to wholesale and retail trade of firewood and peat briquettes, the branch provides services for sawing firewood, splitting it, loading, and delivering it to the buyer.
Citizens can be placed on the waiting list for fuel purchase by personal visit or by calling 5-24-17. Fuel at a fixed price is sold per household used for citizen residence. The fact of residence must be confirmed by registration at the given household.
