On June 10, in the village of Lozichi, Gluboksky district, Vitebsk region, rescuers recovered a 13-year-old boy from a body of water.

After resuscitation measures, medics pronounced the teenager dead. The cause and circumstances of the tragedy are being established.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reminds:

– do not leave children unattended, plan their leisure time;

– discuss with children the dangers of playing near water bodies, the inadmissibility of swimming outside specially equipped areas;

– when planning recreation near water bodies, choose specially equipped places;

– explain to children the inadmissibility of jumping from dams, bridges, piers;

– remember that danger for children can also lurk in inflatable, frame pools, and other water containers.
