Tragedy in Narovlya: three people died, including two children

On the night of June 14, rescuers received a report of a fire on Sotsialisticheskaya Street.

Upon arrival of the Ministry of Emergency Situations units, there was open burning of the roof and veranda of the house. During the reconnaissance, rescuers found four people, including three children, carried them outside and handed them over to ambulance personnel. A pensioner and two children died from their injuries. The third child was taken to the hospital in serious condition.

Ministry of Emergency Situations psychologists are providing assistance to the relatives of the deceased. The circumstances and cause of the tragedy are being established.

RESCUERS REMIND YOU:
– ensure safety in your home;
– do not smoke in living quarters, especially in bed, particularly when intoxicated;
– monitor the condition of electrical wiring and use only serviceable electrical appliances;
– operate only serviceable heating appliances and units;
– exercise extreme caution when using open flames;
– install autonomous fire detectors that can warn of danger at an early stage.
