Work at construction sites is under the control of employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations

Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations conducted preventive and supervisory measures at construction sites located in the city of Miory.

Special attention was paid to mobile inventory buildings, as these temporary structures often become the scene of fires. It is in such buildings that builders spend their free time: they use electrical appliances, as well as electric heaters, and sometimes smoke. Unfortunately, at the two construction sites visited by rescuers, the temporary buildings – the staff rooms – were not fully equipped with primary fire extinguishing means.

Prescriptions for the elimination of violations were sent to construction organizations, and responsible persons for ensuring fire safety at construction sites were instructed to immediately eliminate the identified violations.

Discussions were held with employees involved in construction sites regarding compliance with fire safety requirements, rules for the use of primary fire extinguishing means, and skillful measures to be taken in case of emergencies.
