State Fire Supervision informs!

In February, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the educational institution "Novopogostskaya Secondary School named after G.I. Tsitovich", educational institution "Chepukovskaya Secondary School", educational enterprise "Miory", branch "Povyatye" of agricultural production cooperative "Cheressy", production unitary enterprise "Miory Meat Processing Plant".

During the monitoring, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems.

Based on the results of the monitoring conducted at the educational institution "Chepukovskaya Secondary School", violations of the requirements for the maintenance of evacuation routes and exits, and fire evacuation plans were identified. At the facilities of the branch "Povyatye" of agricultural production cooperative "Cheressy", violations of the requirements for the maintenance and availability of primary fire extinguishing means, as well as for training employees in fire safety measures, were identified. At the facilities of the educational enterprise "Miory", violations of the requirements for the maintenance and availability of primary fire extinguishing means, for the maintenance of fire reservoirs and fire alarm systems, as well as for training employees in fire safety measures, were identified. At the production unitary enterprise "Miory Meat Processing Plant", violations of fire safety requirements for the maintenance of evacuation routes and exits, for training employees in fire safety measures, for maintaining fire alarm systems in working order, and for equipping buildings with fire alarm systems were identified.

Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations have been sent to the heads of the facilities.

Also, during the monitoring, compliance with the requirements of the legislation by licensees LLC "Polotsksantechelectrosbyt" and the Miory Department of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in the field of technical maintenance of fire automation systems at these facilities was studied. All identified violations related to the technical maintenance of fire automation systems were eliminated during the monitoring.

The employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If fires are detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fires, and report the fire to the rescue service.
