State Fire Supervision informs!

In January, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the State Educational Institution "Miory Secondary School No. 3 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Egor Andreevich Tomko", "Povyatskaya Secondary School named after Hero of the Soviet Union V.A. Babichev", the State Cultural Institution "Miory Center of Culture and Folk Art", and the hotel of the private trade unitary enterprise "Nikafood".

During the monitoring of the facilities, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems.

Based on the results of the monitoring, a number of violations were identified concerning the safe condition of evacuation routes and exits, the serviceability of fire water supply and fire extinguishing equipment, as well as the provision of facilities with the necessary amount of primary fire extinguishing equipment. During the monitoring, compliance with the legislation by the licensee "Polotsksantechelectrosbyt" LLC and the Department of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in the field of fire safety technical maintenance of fire automation systems in these institutions was also studied. Violations committed by them were eliminated during the monitoring. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the heads of the institutions.

Employees of the Miory Department of Emergency Situations once again remind about the need for all employees of enterprises and organizations to comply with fire safety requirements. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
