In order to popularize the profession of rescuer-firefighter and select candidates for admission to the "Specialized Lyceum of the Ministry of Emergency Situations", the Deputy Head of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations, Pavel Buryak, held a meeting with sixth-grade students at the Miory Secondary School No. 3 named after Ya.A. Tomko and the Novopogost Secondary School named after G.I. Titovich.

During the meeting, students were explained the algorithm of actions for admission to the lyceum, the advantages of studying, and the basic requirements. A video about the educational institution was also demonstrated to those present, which provided information about the daily life of lyceum students and the material and technical base created for training the best specialists.

"A rescuer is not just a profession, it is a calling that requires courage, dedication, and readiness to help in any situation," noted Pavel Burak.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations employee reminded the students about the causes of fires, which household items can be dangerous, and how to properly use electrical appliances. Special attention was paid to practicing the algorithm of actions in case of an emergency.

The career guidance work carried out allowed students to gain an understanding of the rescuer profession, the conditions of study at the lyceum, and the opportunities for growth within the Ministry of Emergency Situations system.
