The special preventive event 'House without fire' will be held in Miory region

In January 2026, 120 fires occurred in the region (a twofold increase compared to the same period last year), resulting in 16 fatalities (a 2.3-fold increase).

In order to influence the operational situation regarding fatalities in fires within the Miory district, a special preventive event "House without Fire" will be held from February 11 to 17, 2026. Special attention will be paid to the territories of the Povyatsky and Perebrodsky rural Soviets. As part of the events, households of categorized citizens will be inspected, both individually and jointly with prevention entities, rural gatherings, and events in places of mass gathering will be held.
