State Fire Supervision informs!

In December, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the state educational institution "Miory Children's Art School", the state institution of additional education "Miory District Center for Children and Youth".

During the monitoring of the facilities, special attention was paid to the issues of compliance with the fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing means and fire automation systems.

Based on the results of the monitoring of the facilities, a number of violations were identified concerning the safe evacuation of people in case of fire, and the fulfillment by managers, other officials, and employees of their duties in ensuring fire safety. During the monitoring, compliance with the legislation by the licensee (Miory branch of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus) in the provision of fire safety services in terms of technical maintenance of fire automation systems at these facilities was also studied, and a number of violations by the licensee were identified. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the head.

In December, control measures were carried out at the facilities of the children's social shelter of the state educational institution "Miory District Socio-Pedagogical Center", the round-the-clock department for the elderly and disabled of the state institution "Territorial Center for Social Services for the Population of Miory District". During these measures, it was found that previously identified violations were fully eliminated. At the facility of the cafe "Aladdin" of LLC "Dvinskoil", the identified violations were partially eliminated.

Also, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products that are the object of technical regulation of TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the retail outlets of the "Domovoy" store of Individual Entrepreneur Rachitskaya (sale of autonomous fire alarms, fire-retardant compounds, cable channels), and the "Elektrositi" store of CHUP "Elektroreshenie" (sale of autonomous fire alarms, cable channels).

All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need for all employees of enterprises and organizations to comply with fire safety requirements. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
