Installation of standalone fire detectors

As part of an information campaign among the public on the effectiveness of using autonomous fire alarms and the need for their installation in households, employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations visited the households of categorized citizens.

One of the key measures that the Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends to increase the level of safety in residential premises is the installation of autonomous fire alarms. These devices are capable of timely detecting smoke and warning residents about potential danger, which significantly increases the chances of a quick evacuation and minimization of consequences.

When installing fire alarms, special attention is paid to the technical condition and operation of stove heating. Stoves can be a source of potential risks if they are installed incorrectly or not maintained properly.

As part of the current campaign, explanatory and preventive measures are being carried out aimed at popularizing the installation of autonomous fire alarms. Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations installed autonomous fire alarms for single elderly disabled people, purchased at the expense of an individual entrepreneur of the "Uyut" building materials store.
