Construction sites – under special control
Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations visited construction sites located in the district center to monitor compliance with fire safety regulations at construction sites.
Special attention was paid to mobile (inventory) buildings, as these temporary structures often become the scene of fires. It is in such buildings that builders spend their free time. The specified buildings were installed only at the construction site of the facility: "40-apartment residential building at Verkhnedvinskaya St., 35
in Miory".
During the work carried out, violations of fire safety requirements were identified regarding the conduct of fire safety briefings for workers at the construction site, the training of employees under fire-technical minimum programs, the provision of mobile (inventory) buildings with serviceable primary fire extinguishing means, as well as regarding the placement of serviceable heat-generating appliances in them. In order to eliminate the identified violations, orders were sent to the heads of construction organizations. Also, a number of remarks and shortcomings were eliminated directly during the preventive measures.
Conversations were held with employees involved in construction sites on compliance with fire safety requirements, rules for the use of primary fire extinguishing means, and skillful measures to be taken in case of emergencies.
