State Fire Supervision informs!

In October, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the State Educational Institution "Miory District Social-Pedagogical Center", children's social shelter (Miory district, Disna, Pervomayskaya St., 2a), State Institution "Territorial Center for Social Services of the Population of Miory District", 24-hour stay department (Miory district, Disna, Pervomayskaya St., 2a).

During the monitoring of the facilities, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing means and fire automation systems.

Based on the results of the monitoring of the facilities, a number of violations were identified regarding the safe evacuation of people in case of fire. During the monitoring, compliance with the requirements of the legislation by the licensee (ChTUP "Polotsksantechelectrosbyt") in the field of technical maintenance of fire automation systems at these facilities was also studied; no violations were found on their part. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the management.

In October, control measures were carried out at the facilities of the "Miory KKZ" branch of the open joint-stock company "Polotsk Grain Products Plant", the "Povyatye" branch of the agricultural unitary enterprise "Cheressy", UP ZhKH Miory District, during which it was found that previously identified violations were completely eliminated, while at the facilities of the production unitary enterprise of communal property "Miory" the identified violations were not eliminated.

Also, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products that are the subject of technical regulation TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the retail facility of the "Avtozapchasti" store of OOO "Barut" (sale of fire extinguishers).

All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

The employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations (ROChS) once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If fires are detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fires, and report the fire to the rescue service.
