Participants of the thematic event learned about the daily life of emergency rescue workers in theory and practice. The meeting began with an engaging tour of the fire station, where rescuers demonstrated fire and rescue equipment and special gear used by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, spoke about the rescuer-firefighter profession and their daily work, and showed the living and working conditions. The children had the opportunity to sit in a fire truck and try on firefighting gear.

The meeting continued in the department's assembly hall, where propaganda inspector Olga Girzhda familiarized the children with the organization, spoke about its activities, and the events held under the auspices of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters.

The organization of young rescuers is an example of how youth can be active, useful, and inspiring. It is a movement that unites those who are ready to act, learn, and protect.

In a solemn ceremony, the Deputy Head of the Miory Department for Emergency Situations, Pavel Burak, presented membership cards and congratulated the new members on joining the ranks of the Belarusian Youth Public Association of Rescuers and Firefighters.

Continuing the meeting, an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations spoke about the rescuer profession and the selection criteria for candidates applying to the Civil Protection University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus. The representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations provided the students with detailed information about the educational institution, the organization of the educational process, the daily schedule, and the living and domestic conditions for cadets, as well as their future service in the units.

The rescuer also explained the admission requirements to the students and emphasized that upon graduation, young men and women receive guaranteed employment and their first officer rank – lieutenant of the internal service.

- Children, I wish you to successfully complete the academic year and take successful and correct steps on your path to the profession, - wished Pavel Burak to the students.
