State Fire Supervision informs!

In August, employees of the state fire supervision conducted a supervisory event in the form of monitoring at the facilities of UP ZhKKh of the Miory district (hotel in Disna, hotel in Miory, dormitory in Miory).

During the monitoring of the facilities, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems.

Based on the results of the monitoring, a number of violations were identified at the facilities concerning the safe evacuation of people in case of fire, training of employees under fire-technical minimum programs, maintenance of self-rescuers, and provision of primary fire extinguishing means (fire extinguishers). During the monitoring, compliance with legislation by licensees (Miory branch of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, OOO "SpetsYuKInzheniring") in the field of technical maintenance of fire automation systems at these facilities was also studied; no violations were found on their part. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the management.

In August, control measures were carried out at the facilities of the state educational institution "Miory Secondary School No. 3 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Egor Andreevich Tomko", the branch "Miory KKZ" of the open joint-stock company "Polotsk Grain Processing Plant", the open joint-stock company "Miory Rayagroservice", the branch "Povyatie" of the agricultural unitary enterprise "Cheressy", the state educational institution "Miory Kindergarten No. 2", the state educational institution "Miory Kindergarten No. 3". During these measures, it was found that previously identified violations were fully rectified.

Also, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products that are the object of technical regulation of TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the retail outlet "Tri tseny" of LLC "Play hard" (sale of fire detectors, fire extinguishers), and at the gas station No. 26 (sale of fire extinguishers).

All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
