The special preventive event 'House without fire' will be held in the Miory region

In the first half of 2025, 490 citizens died from external causes, including 46 in fires. In the first 7 months of 2025, compared to the same period in 2024, the number of fires increased by 9% (from 547 to 596), and the number of people killed in them increased by 43.6% (from 39 to 56). An increase in the number of citizens killed in fires is observed in 13 regions of the oblast.

In order to influence the situation with the death of people in the Miory district, a ten-day campaign to prevent deaths from external causes will be held from August 22 to 31, and a special preventive event "House without Fire" will be held from August 25 to 31. Special attention will be paid to the territory of the city of Miory and the Perebrodsky village council. As part of the events, households of categorized citizens will be inspected, both individually and jointly with prevention entities, performances will be held in labor collectives, village meetings, and events in places of mass gathering.
