Observe safety rules so that trouble bypasses you

From the first days of summer holidays, employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations, as part of the republican information and propaganda campaign "Safe Holidays," are visiting school-based health camps and conducting classes.

Thus, a preventive event was held at the Turkowska Secondary School. Representatives of the "101" service conducted an engaging event where children learned how to act correctly in emergency situations and what needs to be done to avoid them. A specialist from the propaganda sector explained to the children how to make recreation by the water safe and avoid trouble.

– You can only swim with adults and in a specially equipped place. In our district, these are the beach on the peninsula of the town of Miory and the beach in the village of Perebrodye.

– And to avoid sunstroke, you should always wear a hat, – shared one of the camp attendees his knowledge.

In addition, the children themselves tried to provide first aid to a person in distress in the water. The children consolidated their acquired knowledge by playing interactive games and answering questions in thematic quizzes. They were given safety reminders as souvenirs.
