Roughage preparation under the control of Miory rescuers

Roughage harvesting is a responsible period not only for farmers but also for rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. There is probably no one who doesn't know how much effort farmers put into growing and harvesting feed for animals. But if fire safety rules are violated during harvesting, the results of many people's labor can be destroyed in minutes.

In order to prevent fires at agricultural enterprises, employees of the supervision sector conducted preventive raids. The main emphasis was placed on inspecting equipment that will soon be working in the fields. Representatives of the "101" service checked the availability of primary fire extinguishing means, as well as the ability of enterprise employees to use them. Attention was also paid to the training of employees under the fire-technical minimum program, and farmers were reminded not to smoke on the premises.

− A comprehensive approach is the most effective measure to prevent emergencies during the harvesting campaign. This includes compliance with the fire safety regulations, competent and prompt response to any emergency situations, and the responsible attitude of each employee to safety, − emphasized an employee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

In addition to monitoring the fire safety status, the raid participants provided advisory assistance to the facility managers and explained how not to become the cause of a fire emergency at work and at home.
