The contribution of rescuers to the improvement of the district

By Decree No. 1 of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, 2025 has been declared the Year of Improvement, which includes a set of measures aimed at creating and maintaining order for people's lives.

Rescuers have not remained on the sidelines of such an important event and have been actively participating in the improvement of the district's territory since the beginning of the year.

In the spring, together with the employees of the Disna Forestry, they took part in the Republican campaign "Give the Forest New Life" and planted over 7,000 coniferous and pine seedlings in the territory of the Uzmensky rural council. Rescuers are confident that natural resources are a heritage that must be protected and multiplied. The small contribution of each person to the multiplication of Belarus's forests will bear fruit in the future.

In the year of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were tidying up military burial sites in the district. Through the joint efforts of the authorities and organizations of the region, landscaping work was carried out at the cemetery in the settlement of Yаzno, and memorial obelisks were erected on the graves of the Great Patriotic War participants Selivestor Alekseevich Zhenov, commissar of the N.F. Gastello partisan detachment, and Nina Grigoryevna Bogdanova, a junior nurse of an evacuation hospital.

Rescuers believe that the issue of improvement and tidying up, including in burial places, is important for every person, and this work is important and necessary, first of all, for future generations and for honoring the memory of the fallen defenders.

As part of the district program for the improvement of the territory of the Yalnya National Landscape Reserve, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took an active part in tidying up and improving the territory adjacent to the reserve and the road leading to it.

In such an important year for the country, rescuers do not plan to stop, as there are many more plans ahead that can be accomplished through joint efforts!
