State Fire Supervision informs!

In March, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the educational institution "Novopogostskaya Secondary School named after Hero of the Soviet Union G.I. Tsitovich", the educational institution "Povjatskaya Secondary School named after Hero of the Soviet Union V.A. Babichev", the educational institution "Disna Secondary School", the educational institution "Yazna Secondary School", and the healthcare institution "Miory Central District Hospital".

During the monitoring of the facilities, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems.

Based on the results of the monitoring in the educational institutions, a number of violations were identified concerning the safe condition of evacuation routes and exits. During the monitoring, compliance with the requirements of the legislation by the licensee LLC "Polotsksantech-elektrosbyt" in the field of fire safety maintenance, specifically in the technical maintenance of fire automation systems in these institutions, was also studied. No violations on their part were detected. Recommendations for the elimination of identified violations were sent to the heads of the institutions.

Based on the results of the monitoring at the healthcare institution's facilities, violations were also identified concerning the safe condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the operability and serviceability of fire protection and extinguishing equipment. Recommendations for the elimination of identified violations were also sent to the head of the institution.

In addition, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products subject to the technical regulation TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the retail outlet "Ferum" "TNKUltra" (sale of extruded electrical installation products), the store "KaLiNa" LLC "AKOtrans" (sale of extruded electrical installation products), and Gas Station No. 26 (sale of fire extinguishers).

All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

The employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If fires are detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fires, and report the fire to the rescue service.
