Fire prevention work in housing

Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations, with the aim of preventing fires and deaths from them on weekends, conduct fire prevention work in the residential sector both individually and in conjunction with prevention entities.

Rescuers visited citizens' households, paid attention to citizens' compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of electrical wiring, stove heating, the presence and operability of autonomous fire detectors, and strongly recommended those who had not yet purchased one to install it. Once again, they reminded about the rules for operating stoves in winter conditions with low temperatures.

For the purpose of prevention, explanatory work was carried out with residents, the basic rules of fire safety in everyday life were recalled, and how to behave in case of an emergency was explained.

In addition, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed the district residents about the operational situation with fires, the causes of their occurrence, and reminded them of emergency service numbers.

To reinforce the information, citizens were given memorable visual aids containing a lot of useful information.
