The task is to teach from childhood
Teaching children about life safety is always relevant! While adults know how to behave in a particular emergency situation, children do not always possess this information. That is precisely why it is necessary to start teaching the younger generation safety rules from early childhood. Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations visited the kindergarten with the preschoolers of the Novopogost Secondary School preschool group.
Working with children is one of the most demanding tasks. The main goal in carrying out this work is to teach children and socialize them into adult life. Even at preschool age, a child should know and be able to do a lot. Among the knowledge that children should acquire from childhood is the inadmissibility of emergency situations.
Representatives of the "101" service not only told the children about their profession but also conducted an explanatory interactive discussion.
It is well known that matches or lighters, which children are so tempted to play with, are very dangerous toys, and such mischief often leads to disaster. Rescuers explained to the boys and girls the dangers of playing with fire, and also taught them how to behave in case of a fire: not to panic, to immediately report the incident to adults, to leave the danger zone, and under no circumstances to hide in secluded places from fire and smoke. Together with the Ministry of Emergency Situations employee, the preschoolers memorized the rescue phone numbers. During the meeting, the children learned about the operating principle of an autonomous fire alarm.
To conclude the events, the rescuers answered questions that interested the curious preschoolers and presented visual materials with useful information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations. A souvenir photo was also taken.
