Together for safety
Rescuers of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations, as part of the "For Safety Together" campaign, spoke at the work collectives of enterprises and organizations in the district, inspected the households of lonely and single citizens, as well as households of families with children in a socially dangerous situation. The main goal of the work is to prevent fires in residential buildings and deaths from them.
During their speeches at work collectives, EMERCOM employees remind about compliance with fire safety rules regarding the operation and installation of stove equipment, safety rules when tidying up the land, and actions in case of fire. They also remind about emergency service phone numbers.
During household inspections, rescuers pay special attention to the living conditions of citizens. Residents are given preventive talks about observing fire safety rules in everyday life, about not smoking in bed, especially when intoxicated, as well as about not leaving young children unattended and about the need to install an autonomous fire alarm in the household.
