State Fire Supervision informs!
In February, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the State Educational Institution "Miory Secondary School No. 2 named after N.G. Izvarin", State Educational Institution "Miory Secondary School No. 3 named after Hero of the Soviet Union Egor Andreevich Tomko", State Educational Institution "Sitkovskaya Basic School", State Educational Institution "Turkovskaya Basic School".
During the monitoring of the facilities, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems.
Based on the results of the monitoring in the educational institutions, a number of violations were identified concerning the safe condition of evacuation routes and exits. During the monitoring, compliance with the requirements of the legislation by the licensee LLC "Polotsksantech-elektrosbyt" in the provision of fire safety activities in terms of technical maintenance of fire automation systems in these institutions was also studied; no violations were found on their part. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the heads of the institutions.
In addition, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products that are the subject of technical regulation TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at the retail outlet "Avtomag" of IE Ladis O.Yu. (sale of fire extinguishers), the store "Metr2" of private enterprise "RosEnergoKontrakt" (sale of fire-retardant compounds, autonomous fire alarms).
All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.
Employees of the Miory Regional Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
