The State Fire Supervision informs!

In November, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the Educational Institution "Miory Children's Art School", the Educational Institution "Miory District Center for Children and Youth".

During the monitoring, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems. Based on the results of the monitoring conducted at the Educational Institution "Miory Children's Art School", violations of the requirements for the maintenance of the fire alarm system were identified. At the Educational Institution "Miory District Center for Children and Youth", violations of fire safety requirements for the maintenance and availability of primary fire extinguishing means, for the maintenance of evacuation exits and building evacuation plans in case of fire, and for equipping the building with a fire alarm system were identified. Also, during the monitoring, compliance by the licensee, the Miory branch of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, with the requirements of the legislation in the field of fire safety maintenance, specifically regarding the technical maintenance of fire automation systems at these facilities, was studied. Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the heads of the facilities.

In addition, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products that are the subject of technical regulation TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at retail facilities: "MTM" pavilion of "MTM-plus" LLC (sale of fire detectors, PVC cable channels), "Auto Parts" store of "Barut" LLC (sale of powder fire extinguishers), "Master" store of "Itera-Trade" Private Unitary Enterprise (sale of fire detectors, PVC cable channels). All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

Employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations (ROChS) once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fire, and report the fire to the rescue service.
