Miory rescuers took part in the district wood-chopping championship

The team of the Miory Department for Emergency Situations took part in the regional championship for wood chopping among enterprises and organizations of the region, which was held in the district center.

16 teams took part in the wood chopping championship, led by the head of the Miory District Executive Committee, Sergey Semenychev. Each team included two men and one woman. The team of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations was represented by true professionals: Deputy Head Pavel Burak, Senior Rescuer Instructor Petrovich Alexander, and Radio Operator Shved Regina.

All team members chopped wood with special diligence and effort. Wood chopping has always been considered a male occupation, but female representatives also took part in the championship, showing and proving to everyone that strength is not the main thing in this matter, but skill and craftsmanship. All participants coped with this task excellently. It should be noted that this is not just a competition, but first of all, assistance. After all, all the chopped wood will be given to lonely elderly citizens.

According to the results of the championship, the bronze medal went to the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations.
