State Fire Supervision informs!

In October, employees of the state fire supervision conducted supervisory activities in the form of monitoring at the facilities of the state educational institution "Mioy District Social-Pedagogical Center" children's social shelter, the round-the-clock stay department of the state institution "Territorial Center for Social Services of the Mioy District", and hotels of the UP ZhKH of the Mioy District.

During the monitoring, special attention was paid to compliance with fire safety regulations, the condition of evacuation routes and exits, and the serviceability and operability of fire extinguishing equipment and fire automation systems. Based on the results of the monitoring, violations of the requirements for maintaining fire alarm systems in good working order were identified in the building of the children's social shelter. In the hotel of the city of Miora of UP ZhKH of the Mioy District, violations related to the maintenance of evacuation routes and exits were identified. Also, during the monitoring, compliance with the requirements of the legislation by the licensee ChTUP "Polotsksantech-elektrosbyt" and the Mioy Department of the Department of Protection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in the field of fire safety activities, specifically in the technical maintenance of fire automation systems at these facilities, was studied.

Recommendations for eliminating the identified violations were sent to the heads of the facilities.

In addition, employees of the state fire supervision checked compliance with the requirements for products subject to technical regulation TR EAEU 043/2017 "On requirements for fire safety and fire extinguishing means" at retail outlets: "Tri Tseny" store of OOO "Play Hard" (sale of powder fire extinguishers), "Ferum" store of ChUP "TNKUltra" (sale of PVC cable channels), "KaLiNa" store of OOO "AKOtrans" (sale of fire detectors, PVC cable channels). All the specified products, as well as the presented accompanying documents, comply with the applicable requirements.

The employees of the Miory District Department for Emergency Situations once again remind about the need to comply with fire safety requirements by all employees of enterprises and organizations. If fires are detected, it is necessary to notify people who may be in the danger zone, take measures to extinguish the fires, and report the fire to the rescue service.
