The First Deputy Head of the Regional Emergency Situations Department visited the Miory District

The visit of the first deputy head of the institution "Vitebsk Regional Emergency Management Department" Andrey Vladimirovich Gavrilenko to the Miory district began with a meeting with the employees of Miory Rayagropromservice at the drying complex in the village of Kamenpolye.

In his conversation, Andrey Vladimirovich highlighted the most common causes of fire emergencies. The undisputed leader among the causes of fires remains careless handling of fire while smoking, often while intoxicated. He gave examples from practice where a bad habit can cost not only one person's life but also the death of an entire family.

The topic of fire safety compliance at agricultural facilities and the rules for using primary fire extinguishing means during harvesting did not go unnoticed by Andrey Vladimirovich.

During his visit to fire rescue post No. 13 in the village of Povyaite, as well as fire rescue unit No. 1 in the town of Miory, the first deputy head paid special attention to the issue of labor discipline of employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations bodies and divisions, emphasized the need for clear performance of official duties, maintaining order in the unit and careful attitude towards property, and also dwelled in detail on issues of discipline and legality, and the prevention of offenses among personnel.
