The Vitebsk rescuers, together with representatives of the district OSVOD, decided to conduct an engaging and useful session on water safety measures for children of the "Solnyshko" health camp on Lake Miory.
The session began with a discussion about safe behavior at a water body, and a story about what dangerous situations can occur if the rules of safe behavior are not followed. The algorithm of actions when calling emergency services was practiced. Rescuers told the children how to behave and what to do if they witness someone drowning.
The children practiced throwing a lifebuoy and an Александров rope in practice, which, as it turned out, is not so easy, tried on life jackets, and sat in a boat of rescue sailors.
At the end of the event, the children received safety leaflets as gifts.
