The Deputy Head of the Regional Emergency Situations Department visited the Miory District

During a visit to the Miory district, the Deputy Head of the institution "Vitebsk Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations," Andrey Baltruk, met with the staff of the "Miory Feed Mill" branch.

In a conversation with the employees, Andrey Nikolaevich highlighted the most common causes of fire emergencies. Careless handling of fire while smoking, often while intoxicated, remains the undisputed leader in fire incidents. He provided examples from practice where a bad habit can cost not only one person their life but also lead to the death of an entire family.

The Deputy Head also addressed the issue of children's pranks with fire. Andrey Nikolaevich mentioned that summer holidays have begun and leaving children unsupervised is unacceptable. After all, the most terrible punishment for this is to lose a beloved child forever.

The Deputy Head of the department also reminded those present about adhering to fire safety rules at facilities and the proper use of primary fire extinguishing equipment. At the end of his speech, he distributed safety guidelines to the attendees.
